About Charnita
Feedback starts the moment you strike the first string and hear the resonance fill the room. The hum of the amp is usually our starting point for troubleshooting your technique. We spend time on strumming patterns and lead guitar basics to ensure you feel secure in your playing.
It is simple. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and find your gaps.
Working with my degree background means we look at the music theory behind your favorite songs. By the end, you should feel like the instrument is finally working with you instead of against you. Having fun is the main goal.

Playing for 9 years in the Montreal folk scene has given me a perspective on the instrument that goes beyond just reading tabs. I was finishing my BA Musique populaire while gigging, so I understand the juggle of life and practice. It is about making sure those barre chords actually sound clear.
My 367 students range from busy professionals to teens finding their sound on electric or acoustic. I keep things practical. I am here to help you get the technique right without the fluff.
