About Folami
I am a fully qualified teacher PGCE cert, with specialisms in drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media, textiles art, 3D construction and stop-motion animation.
My teaching has always included exam level and I have worked as an external moderator for Pearson EDEXCEL and have had annual standardisation training for both GCSE and A Level Art and Design endorsed and unendorsed subjects.
I am fully conversant with the specifications and requirements for GCSE and A Level exam candidates and have seen many students through to successful outcomes and entry into many university and vocational courses both in the UK and internationally at British schools overseas.
I have an inclusive and sensitive teaching style.

My lessons and mentoring sessions cater for students aged 14 years and older who are studying GCSE and A Level, also adults who need to improve their skills to build a portfolio for a higher education course, or for personal development.
With extensive experience teaching people with a range of SEND needs I tailor my lessons to meet the needs of each client. I begin with a brief consult to get to know you and understand your needs and learning style. I give you an opportunity to get to know me and ask me questions about what I can offer.
Beginning with an introduction and plenary to recap or introduce a new project/technique I demonstrate and present a range of starting points depending on ability level and aptitude.
Lesson lengths are suited to my clients, with single lessons for 40min on average.
