About Yuripman
I'm a Toronto based artist dedicated to the exploration and teaching of art as a path to inner growth, healing and self discovery. After completing my professional training in classical and contemporary dance in my natal country, Cuba, I moved to North America in search of broader horizons, motivated by my desires to explore and understand life at a fundamental level. This quest outside of my motherland guided me via the many and difficult turns that such journey takes to reverse my search light inwards and venture into different mediums.
Utilizing the creative tools provided by my upbringing, my natural curiosity and the universal character of my culture and identity, I continues to explore through "conscious art practice" the essential questions at the centre of my original quest e.g purpose, meaning, and ultimately the nature of consciousness.

By discovering where the student's interests lay we can create together a tailored program that meets the student in their current developmental stage, we are all unique creatures in our own right, one size does not fit all.
