As a 31 year old Deaf woman with American Sign Language as my primary language, my goal is to teach anybody interested in learning American Sign Language and help my community gain a better understanding of the English language. I can’t wait to start sharing my beautiful language with you!

First lesson: Introduction, assessment of skill level, share expectations, set goals/plan for the first half of this lesson. Will finish off with a light ASL course depending on your skill level, and then at your request, a homework assignment. Conclusion to close the lesson.
Basic ASL Lessons: Learn the alphabet, a basic word vocabulary, and basic sentences found in everyday conversations. A little bit of history. Q/A. Short stories. Homework assignments will be provided at your request.
Beginner/Intermediate Level: You have gotten the basics down, and are ready to practice communication in sign language or expand your ASL knowledge. Advanced/expanded vocabulary, stories, songs and more will be taught in sign language. Homework assignments will be provided at your request.
Advanced Level: This is for interpreters, later-deafened people, those that did not have full access to ASL, and more. The courses will be intensive and informative.
