About Matthew
I have taught Physics in UK private, grammar and comprehensive schools and am familiar with both AQA and Edexcel Physics GCSE, as well as AQA Physics A-level. I also have experience teaching students with additional needs and have undertaken additional training and work in this area.
I am passionate about the importance of Physics in the curriculum, and particularly in the skills it can foster to prepare students for their future, whatever they choose to pursue. I believe tuition should always be student focused. Whether your aim is to achieve a certain exam grade or to push yourself beyond the syllabus in preparation for college or university, I will work with you to support you in achieving your goals.

Sessions will be tailored based on your individual requirements. I am able to offer bespoke advice on both revision technique and answering exam questions. Furthermore, I am always keen to develop students' problem solving skills. Rather than simply showing them how to answer a question, I teach students how best to approach unfamiliar and difficult questions, such that they are more confident to tackle these in the future as well.
