About Chetna
My experience in private tutoring and teaching complex subjects extends over 10 years. I have previously taught middle school (Science, Maths, English) , high school (Physics) and first-year university students (Physics, Python programming).
I am passionate about helping young students harness their potential, and believe that the right teacher can not only help achieve academic success but develop genuine interest in the subject matter.
One of the most important things I have learnt being a student mentor is that everyone assimilates knowledge at their own pace, so patience is key in helping a someone understand complex concepts. I am a student myself, that too of doctoral study in a research field, and so possess deep understanding of learning thought processes.

My first and foremost task is to assess the needs of the student and how I can help improve their understanding -- which involves getting to know the student and what are the areas they identify as difficult to understand.
I start with a brief introduction to the basics of the topic and take step by step approach to explaining the more complex concepts.
The lesson plans can be adapted for:
Middle school students.
High school / AP Physics students.
First-year undergraduate students pursuing degrees in Natural Sciences, Applied Sciences or Engineering.
