About Theresa
I hold a first-class Honors degree in Neuroscience from UNSW and a BSc (Cognitive and Brain Sciences) from Macquarie University, with four years of research experience across leading Australian institutions including the Brain and Mind Centre and Neuroscience Research Australia. My work has spanned cellular and molecular neuroscience, and I've presented at international academic conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed research.
I know what it's like to work through dense neuroscience content as a student, and I bring that perspective into every lesson.
I'm patient, genuinely enthusiastic about the subject, and committed to helping students not just pass exams but hopefully become genuine neuroscience lovers too.

I use evidence-based learning techniques I learned in my own uni days, based on how the brain actually learns. Asking questions, making connections to real-world examples, multimodal learning, spaced repetition. However, happy to tailor to whatever works for you. I've previously taught first-year undergrad students, would be best suited for help tackling first and second-year neuroscience subjects.
