About Alvin
School can be both super easy and super difficult at the same time. Some subjects come to us naturally while others require a bit (or a lot) more effort. It is that second category that can add unnecessary stress to what should be a fun scholastic experience. And in those moments when you're banging your head against the wall because you "just don't get it", it's good to know that you don't have to do it alone.
With over 25 years of professional music experience, and a lifetime of speaking/translating Spanish, you can rest assured that my help will improve your academic performance in these areas.
Whether you need someone to review your homework, understanding intervals and the circle of fifths, help conjugating that difficult verb, or just someone to practice your conversational skills, I'm here to help with what you need most.

- I focus primarily in Spanish and Music from grades 1-12. If you are struggling with homework or simply want to get ahead, let's get in touch!
- I am a professional musician (Bachelor of Music in Music Performance) with over 25 years of musical experience. I am also a native Spanish-speaker and have lived over 20 years combined between the U.S and Canada.
- Flexibility is the name of the game. What works for one student will not work for another. So, no matter your learning style, together we can figure out what approach benefits you the most. We will assess your level and build from there to take meaningful steps towards progress.
