About Christopher
You will notice that I prioritize steady pacing and precise feedback immediately. Proper technique acts as the foundation for sight reading and rhythm. We focus on scales and arpeggios because they dictate how your hands move across the fingerboard. I integrate classical repertoire and orchestral playing to sharpen your timing.
Vibrato control develops once your basic posture settles. Music theory discussions happen naturally as we uncover the logic behind the notes. My goal is to ensure you feel confident while managing complex bowing patterns. I check your progress against RCM benchmarks to maintain discipline.

Violin strings hummed under my fingers starting at age 8. That early resonance still defines how I approach music today.
My formal path led me through the Schulich School of Music at McGill where I earned my Bachelor of Music with a voice minor. I have since logged 7 years of experience teaching various instruments. Working with absolute beginners and returning learners requires immense patience.
I have supported 262 students as they navigate the RCM syllabus. Seeing a self-taught player find proper structure for the first time remains a highlight of my work.
