About Pascale
I am a French-born, Melbourne-based performer, theatre maker, and creative director currently in my final year studying a bachelor’s degree in Theatre at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). My creative pursuits focus on devising work that blurs the line between immersive experiences and actor-audience interaction, creating a safe yet courageous space for audience self-discovery. My developmental practices are deeply rooted in personal traditions, drawing on anecdotal references, environment, music, and physicality to develop themes and stories. I strive to create multi-disciplinary, experimental works anchored in intimate and personal reflections.
As a performer, I engage in both scripted and devised works, relying on my strong physicality and intimate storytelling to embody characters. During my time at VCA, I have developed a keen interest in physical comedic practices which I aim to combine with the French language and written narratives. Through my professional journey, I have honed skills in physical improvisation techniques, collaboration, directing, and leadership, which have enriched my artistic growth and approach to theatre.
I have worked with theatre companies such as; ‘Polyglot’, ‘One Step at a Time Like This’ and ‘Rawcus Theatre’. During her years of study, she has performed and devised for the Victorian college of the Arts (VCA) in ‘Electra’ - (dir. Sarah Austin), ‘Surge’ - (dir. Priya Srinivasan), The Writers project 2022 - ‘Lemon Lord’ and ‘Big Scary Fish Swim School’- (dir. Pascale Constance). Pascale’s recent film and television credits include a VCA second year short film – ‘Grouse, Rad and Everything in Between’ - (dir. Harry Brahka), and a Deakin short film ‘Submerged’- (dir. Zara Carter). Outside of the VCA, Pascale has performed in the ‘69th Annual Law Revue – Laugh Actually’- (dir. Ruby Rawlings and Finn McGrath), ‘Dream House’ at Melbourne International Comedy Festival - (dir. Heather Valentine), and ‘The Social Dance’ at Theatre Works (dir. Laura McKenzie). My directing credits include the ‘70th Annual Law Revue’.

My approach to online theatre tutoring integrates my extensive experience in live theatre and rigorous tertiary training at the 'Victorian College of the Arts' and the International School of Physical Theatre 'Jacques Lecoq'. Sessions can range from 30 minutes to 2 hours and are tailored for ages 13+. My classes are designed to enhance vocal skills and explore improvisation techniques such as; Commedia Dell' Arte, Buffon, Jacques Lecoq's Mask, and Stanislavsky's given circumstances. Through interactive sessions, I aim to cultivate confidence and maturity in students while ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment. By delving deep into English literature, I foster an in-depth understanding that goes beyond the surface, nurturing a passion for the subject.
