About Rhys
I'm a 1st year mechanical engineering student just looking to provide the support that my teachers had given me during my time in secondary.
I have a particular liking to maths as I found it to be a surprisingly fun subject especially when you can understand the application behind it.
I hope I can make maths particularly fun for you just as I had found it.

Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. When it comes to maths, practice makes perfect. Students will be made to do numerous questions in relation to each topic focusing on weak points. Problem solving and critical thinking are highly valued within maths and so I will give time for the student to think through the question themselves before guiding the student through the question myself. After going through a variety of questions and practice it allows for the student to develop confidence and recognise patterns within the examination papers. By the time exam season comes there should be no question that comes up that should surprise them.
Sessions will last for up to an hour or more depending on student needs, and will typically begin with anything the student wants to work on anything specifically.
My lessons will focus on those looking to do their GCSE maths at any level foundation or higher.
I myself am currently pursuing my bachelors in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Liverpool with an achieved A level maths grade of an A.
I have extensive experience as a tutor tutoring GCSE students whilst studying at sixth form for 2 years.
