About Nolan

Hello!

I'm Nolan and I'm a bassist as well as a multi-instrumentalist, music producer, and mixing engineer. I have years of experience with this instrument, recording, and touring all over North America and Europe. I'm a member of the up and coming band daysormay. we just came off a six week tour in the fall opening for Tessa Violet across the US and are currently working on our second album. I've played on bills with some of the biggest acts in the world such as SZA, Phoenix, Mother Mother, The Killers and more.

About the lesson

My main focus in these lessons will be to have students having fun on the instrument playing music they love as a way to develop a passion for the instrument and help them reach their goals faster. Learning songs you love first is a great way through which to learn complex theoretical concepts and techniques. This is the basis of my lessons.

I truly believe what help me get to where I am today is through this approach that I learned from the teachers who taught me how to play this amazing instrument.

I can teach a wide variety of techniques and approaches and will tailor each lesson to every student's needs. Everything from the playing the first notes to learning how to record yourself at a professional level for session work or a crash course in being a touring musician. The world of music is wonderful and vast and I would be happy to be a part of anyone's story.
