About Joe
I have been playing classical bass professionally for 25+ years and I have studied with the finest in the business. I am currently the associate principal bassist of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra. I also have an extensive knowledge of many different styles including jazz, funk, rock, country, ska/reggae and more. I can teach electric bass as well. My approach is goal oriented and tailored to what you desire to achieve!

As a young player, I was self taught, and the methods of practice that I have developed over my life as a bassist, through music school and professionally, will help you problem solve and improve your playing skills in a quick, meaningful, and positive way. I stress strong technical skills and I strive to apply them in the most musical ways possible.
