About Sophie
I have studied Media for 5 years in both GCSE and A Level, gaining an A in GCSE and an A* in A level. I have currently started at Bath Spa University, studying Film, Television and Digital Production. I have also had a lot of experience working with students through work experience at primary schools and mentoring.

About the lesson

My lessons will be personalised to the student as the 1st session will be based on me learning about the student and how they learn best. I will then change my teaching methods to suit them accordingly. However, I've found with media it's much more of a visual subject. I've found the best way to learn media is through discussions on extracts. I find it important that the student understands a piece of text before trying to write essays on it. I'm also experienced in software like Photoshop and will be able to advise and teach about how to use it.

Perfect! Brilliant very helpful......she answers all the questions in detail......
Perfect! Sophie has been tutoring my 15 year old daughter who just started Media Studies GCSE and there were some issues with disruptive children in her school and a teacher who couldn't handle the unruly children which impacted on the quality of the lessons. Sophie is very knowledgable and attentive and my daughter is extremely happy with the help she has received from the online classes. Fantastic.

GCSE’S £25, A-level/BTec £30 undergraduate £40. May charge extra for travel if doing face to face lessons. If you want to cancel please let me know 4 hours in advance otherwise I will still charge for the hour. This is because I can move another person into your slot.
