About Beck
I am a Biochemistry graduate with a passion for science currently pursuing a career in sustainable biotechnology. I enjoy sports, and have previously competed in 800m track and field at national level. I also enjoy the arts, music and reading and am excited to share my knowledge to help others with their studies.

My tutoring is for GCSE and A-level Biology students requiring revision and further understanding of previously covered material. My approach is open, creative and flexible, being based on the students' specific needs. I aim to tutor students who have encountered content in lessons before and would like further revision to better their understanding. Alongside my own knowledge, I will draw on materials I used to study and revise the qualifications myself, as well as creating concise revision posters and notes with the student based on their individual preferences. I will also use practice questions to gauge the students' understanding and tailor my approach. I also welcome the student to bring their own materials such as textbooks, revision notes and exam questions they would like help with. My sessions typically range from 30 minutes to an hour. This approach will be used to build the students' confidence in learning the appropriate concepts and proactively applying this knowledge to scenarios required by the qualification in question.
