About Alexa
I am a classically trained violinist and have been taking violin lessons for the past 13 years. I also have experience working with kids, including teaching children’s dance lessons and giving talks and demonstrations at elementary schools. I am 18 years old and currently a student at the U of S.

I will teach using the Suzuki method as it proved successful for myself as a beginner. It involves learning songs that slowly increase in difficulty, as well as an emphasis on learning music by ear. Simply music theory will also be incorporated into the lesson. I will help everyone learn at their own pace and make violin lessons fun for children! Parents should also attend the lessons and assist the child in practicing to ensure their success!
