About Gary
Twenty-three years ago I started this path because music felt like a conversation. Piano is my primary language.
I hold a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the McGill Schulich School of Music, which helps me explain complex ideas simply. My practice covers jazz improvisation, memorization techniques, and sight transposition alongside sight reading. I focus heavily on hand independence and chord voicing to ensure you feel secure at the keys. Have you ever wondered what your hands are capable of doing when they feel truly free?

Silence is the most important part of a musical composition. My time with you feels like a collaborative exploration rather than a lecture.
