About Guy

I know what it feels like to struggle with a new language — because I've been there. I became fluent in English in just six months, and that experience shaped everything about how I teach. I don't believe in memorizing verb charts or grinding through grammar drills. I believe in conversation. Real, unscripted, sometimes messy conversation. That's how fluency actually happens.

I've tutored across four countries — the US, Haiti, Spain, and South Africa — which means I've worked with learners from wildly different cultures and starting points. I adapt to you, not the other way around. I speak three languages myself, so I understand both sides of the language-learning dynamic: the frustration and the breakthrough.

My background in data analysis and intelligence analysis taught me to listen carefully, spot patterns, and adjust quickly — skills I bring to every session. But more than that, I bring genuine curiosity. I'm widely read, I can engage on almost any topic, and I'm comfortable letting a conversation go wherever it naturally leads.

I'm respectful, patient, and deeply understanding of the courage it takes to speak a language you haven't mastered yet. You'll never feel judged in my sessions. You'll just talk — and, before you know it, you'll be fluent.

· We talk. You make mistakes. That's totally fine.
· I gently correct and guide, but the focus stays on flowing conversation
