About Charonia
Pacing is the secret to steady growth, but are you practicing the right things? I use my BM Popular Music training to ensure your technique is solid. We tackle rhythm guitar, fingerpicking, and electric technique with simple, repeatable exercises.
I provide a monthly recorded review of progress so you can track your growth. We also cover ear training, tuning, and maintenance to keep your instrument in perfect condition. It is a straightforward way to learn.

Playing music started in a tiny basement where the reverb sounded like a cathedral. I admit that my initial attempts at rhythm guitar were clumsy and lacked any sense of flow. With 9 years of experience as a performer, I hold a BM Popular Music degree from UdeM.
I have taught 145 students ranging from energetic kids to advanced adults seeking technical refinement. My personal narrative involves blending Quebec folk styles with modern techniques. It is about the feel of the strings under your fingers.
These days, I keep things grounded and practical, focusing on what works in a real performance setting. It feels like a natural extension of my own practice.
