About Mimika
As a graduate of Berklee College of Music and experience teaching voice and piano, I feel confident in my ability to teach both subjects. I've worked with ages ranging from 4-45+ and from beginners to more advanced intermediate students.
I was the recipient of the Law award and the Journalism award in my high school graduating class for achieving the highest marks in both subjects. I've worked with high school and elementary school students to help in subjects such as English, History, and Law.

My lessons focus on building foundational skills and applying them in relevant ways for the student. As we work through material we'll continue to add new skills and tools that the student can use to further their knowledge.
Piano lessons are taught using a series of books and can also focus on specific pieces students are interested in once they've reached a certain level.
Voice will be a mixture of contemporary and theatrical pieces depending on the interest of the student but always with a focus on healthy vocal practice.
Writing, reading, and essay work will center on student's individual needs. We'll work to expand on comprehension and strengthen writing techniques.
