About Miles
I graduated from Berklee with an electric bass performance bachelors and now teach and gig in the Boston area. I currently play with professional cover bands as well as original touring acts. My teaching experience spans four years, including a variety of private students and 20 hours a week at Bach to Rock. In my spare time I run an instagram account with millions of views and write and record my own music. In addition to bass lessons I teach guitar, songwriting, and basic recording techniques in logic.

My background with established music schools and teaching privates has given me great experience in both providing a structured learning environment, and catering a lesson to the individual and their needs. During my time at Bach to Rock I worked with all kinds of students including early childhood, teenagers, high school bands, and adult hobbyists. My favorite way to teach is by analyzing the techniques and theory in songs the students already love. I specialize in intermediate to advanced bass but I also have extensive experience teaching bass and guitar to beginner and intermediate players.
