About Anushka
As a Bharatanatyam dancer with 10 years of training, I am passionate about sharing this beautiful classical art form with beginners. My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in technique, rhythm, and expression with an appreciation for the cultural and spiritual depth of Bharatanatyam. With the journey of starting something new, my goal is to create a supportive, encouraging, and structured learning environment where students feel confident and inspired to explore their potential.

I will focus on laying a strong foundation for beginners by teaching the basic dance steps while emphasising the importance of posture, rhythm, and grace. Lesson lasts about 1 hour. While I don’t have formal teaching experience, I have been a dedicated Bharatanatyam student for the past 10 years, learning under an experienced guru. A decade of training has given me a strong understanding of the art forms, which I am eager to share with beginners. My lessons are tailored for beginners and starting-level students of all ages looking to explore Bharatanatyam for the first time. I can guide you through the basics and help you build a solid foundation.
