About Luc

Hello, and welcome!

My name is Luc, and I’m a bilingual teacher with a deep passion for helping students excel in both French and English. Having spent a year as an exchange student in California, I have not only mastered the language but also gained valuable cultural insights, making me an even more effective communicator and teacher.

I hold a DUT in Quality and Logistics, and while I initially started my studies in Industrial Engineering, I decided to follow my true passion—teaching! I am currently working towards obtaining the DAEFLE (Diplôme d’Aptitude à l’Enseignement du Français Langue Étrangère), which will further enhance my qualifications as a language tutor.

My teaching style is interactive, flexible, and tailored to your individual needs. Whether you're aiming to improve your speaking skills, prepare for exams, or simply gain confidence in the language, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. Together, we’ll focus on real-life applications of the language, using fun and engaging methods to ensure you’re always motivated and making progress.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on providing a personalized and interactive experience. I believe that every student has unique learning needs, so I tailor each lesson to fit the individual goals and pace of the learner. Whether you are aiming to improve your conversational skills, prepare for exams, or simply build your confidence, I create a supportive environment where you feel comfortable to learn and ask questions.

I am fluent in both French and English, and I teach in both languages depending on your preference or learning objectives. My methodology focuses on active learning, using practical examples, real-world conversations, and exercises to ensure that the student is fully engaged.

What makes me unique is my ability to make language learning fun and relevant by incorporating current events, cultural references, and interactive exercises. As a bilingual teacher who has lived in both France and the U.S., I can also bring cultural insights into the language learning process, making it more immersive.

What to expect from a typical lesson: Each session is structured to meet your specific goals. We will start by reviewing previous lessons to reinforce retention, followed by new concepts, vocabulary, and conversational practice. I encourage a lot of spoken practice to ensure that you gain fluency and confidence in real-life situations.
