About Laetitia

I have lived half my life in France and the other half in England. I lived in England until the age of 9 when I moved to Paris. At first, I struggled with the difficulties of the language, especially because the grammar is so demanding. However, I fell in love with the language and am glad that I persevered. I want to share the beauty of the language with everyone!
After finishing secondary school/college in France, I am now studying at King's College London in Physics and Astrophysics. My course is absolutely fascinating and very stimulating. I am very curious and love to learn new things.

About the lesson

My lessons are for all levels: from beginners to advanced.
As a bilingual speaker, I know the difficulties of learning a new language, and how daunting it can be, which is why I believe I can be of true help when it comes to learning French.

How would lessons go forward?
In the first lesson, I would like to evaluate your level of French by talking to my student and assessing what needs to be worked on and to make them feel at ease. From there, I would then be able to help you determine your strengths and weaknesses to help with more lessons.
As everyone is different, I always adapt myself to them and their needs, so that I am able to help them properly.
In my lessons, I would always encourage speaking as much French as possible, as it is through practising to speak that we improve the most. However for beginners, I would alternate between English and French until they are comfortable. My aim is to make my students confident with their French!

At the end of the lesson, I would give my student a summary of the main points we have covered, and some tips they could use to work on in their free time.
