In terms of teaching methods, I prefer to teach people primarily using various examples and practice questions. I feel that this for most students is a more effective approach to gain a comprehensive understanding of a subject than continuously re-reading material. I also find that by finding where students have issue in a particular problem it is easier to address gaps in knowledge and provide them with a more targeted and efficient studying approach.
I am a biochemistry at York University nearing the end of my degree, and would like to tutor students in both chemistry and mathematics. I have a passion for both subjects and did exceptionally well in courses pertaining to them in both my highschool and university careers.
