About Annalise

My interest in biology developed from a fascination with how microscopic processes influence entire living systems. This passion led me to pursue a B.Sc in Life Sciences followed by an M.Sc in Molecular Biology, where I gained strong foundations in both theoretical and applied biological sciences. Over 12 years of teaching, I have supported students in developing clear biological understanding through patient explanation and structured learning.

I approach teaching biology with empathy and attentiveness to individual learning needs. I understand that biology can feel overwhelming due to its breadth, so I focus on organizing information logically and helping students see patterns across topics. I encourage thoughtful questioning and ensure that learners feel comfortable expressing uncertainty as part of the learning process.

Outside teaching, I remain connected to biology through research reading, scientific updates, and conceptual exploration. Teaching biology is meaningful to me because I see students grow more confident in explaining life processes with accuracy and depth. Helping learners develop scientific clarity and curiosity continues to motivate my work.

About the lesson

Biology becomes clearer when students understand how structures, processes, and systems interact within living organisms. My lessons focus on explaining cellular biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and evolution through logical connections and visual understanding. Rather than memorization, I emphasize reasoning and conceptual flow so learners see biology as an interconnected system.

Beginners are guided through basic cell structure, classification, and foundational biological processes. Intermediate learners explore genetics, metabolic pathways, organ systems, and experimental interpretation. Advanced learners focus on molecular mechanisms, regulatory systems, and exam-oriented analytical questions. Lessons include diagrams, guided explanation, and concept reinforcement to ensure steady progress.

Biology lessons also foster curiosity, observation skills, and scientific thinking. Students become more confident in explaining processes clearly and accurately. My goal is to help learners appreciate the logic of life sciences while building confidence in their understanding and expression.
