Hi! I’m a university STEM student with a passion for science and helping others succeed. I’ve always enjoyed subjects like biology and chemistry, and I love being able to share that interest with students in a way that actually makes sense and feels approachable.

I’m outgoing, patient, and easy to talk to, which helps create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I take the time to adapt my explanations and find what works best for each student.

About the lesson

As a STEM university student, my tutoring approach is focused on helping students truly understand scientific concepts rather than just memorizing facts. Science builds on itself, so I emphasize strong foundations and clear reasoning. I break down complex topics into simple, logical steps and use diagrams, analogies, and real-world examples to make abstract ideas easier to grasp.

A typical lesson starts with a quick review of previous material to reinforce key concepts and identify any gaps. I then introduce the new topic step-by-step, explaining both the “how” and the “why” behind it. We work through practice problems or examples together, and as the student becomes more comfortable, I shift toward independent practice. I also include quick check-ins or questions throughout to make sure the student is actively understanding, not just following along.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect concepts across different areas of science and explain them in a way that actually makes sense. Being actively involved in STEM at the university level allows me to bring deeper insight and up-to-date knowledge into sessions. I focus on building confidence and critical thinking skills so students can approach new problems independently.

My lessons are designed for middle school to high school students in subjects such as biology, chemistry, and general science. I work with students at all levels—whether they need help building foundational understanding, preparing for tests, or aiming for higher-level achievement.
