About Charly
I am 28 year old female and am carrying out my PhD in cancer research at King's College London, where I am developing drugs for pancreatic cancer. I received an award for achieving the highest mark in the year during my undergraduate degree in Medical Sciences (BSc) at Leeds University, where I graduated with a high first.
I have taught English and Science on multiple occasions and am highly involved in public engagement and outreach, where I am passionate about inspiring younger generations. I have worked at festivals and career fairs discussing my career path and engaging children of all ages in fascinating scientific concepts.
I really enjoy describing complex scientific concepts in a manner that is easy to understand and am passionate about tutoring. It would be an honour to share my experiences and thorough revision techniques with you and help you get the grades you desire!

I am a friendly, relaxed biology tutor available for 1-3 hour sessions. Sessions are tailored to the student's needs and can cover all material in preparation for exams, or alternatively focus on difficult areas. Teaching techniques will be a mixture of rephrasing concepts in different ways, drawing out biological processes step-by-step, videos and includes interesting ways to remember things. I have experience teaching biology, chemistry and english both 1:1 and to a class of mixed abilities in the UK and Argentina. I can tutor any age at any level.
