About Nick
Hi, I'm Nick.
I'm a certified cat-lover with a mild addiction to Snoopy-styled clothing of which I do collect. I enjoy the outdoors, nature, and occasional volunteering where I hope to help steer humanity in a better direction.
Now, for the educational background. I am a student in a biomedical engineering program at McMaster University (iBioMed), where I've gained lots of in-depth exposure to numerous areas of applied math, physics, chemistry, and biology. I've maintained a high cumulative GPA (3.8) and plan to do so throughout my degree. I'm heavily interested in the role of virology in medicine and hope to pursue my own research in the field, and later hopefully start a pharmaceutical company.
For the time being, I hope to help many students succeed in areas where they need aid in. One of which being math.

Teaching methodology includes prioritizing understanding and derivation before immediate application. This applies to all areas where I am tutoring on mathematical-based concepts. I then guide students through trial and error techniques where I am able to bridge any existing knowledge gaps.
A typical lesson plan would include a brief overview of the session going over concepts that the student and I would tackle within the lesson, followed by actual in-depth explanations of concepts and trial and error practice problems.
