About Vinusha
I am a Biomedical Science graduate and former medical student currently in the process of changing career.
I have always had an interest for life sciences, particularly Biology. I have previously tutored A-Level students for a brief period during my first degree.
As a medical student, it was common practice for peer teaching to take place during study sessions, so I am well-versed in explaining concepts and ideas in a patient and understanding manner.

I am a Biomedical Science graduate and former medical student, so I have excellent biological knowledge beyond the level of secondary school in addition to medical knowledge that can be used to supplement student learning to better their understanding.
I am looking to tutor GCSE students (years 9-11). Lessons can be 1 hour or 2 hours depending on student needs. I will focus on following their specific syllabus and completing past papers to consolidate learning. We can follow the syllabus from the start or hop around from topic to topic according to what the student feels they need the most help with at the moment.
In addition to past papers, I will explain the topic to the student, and when I am confident that they understand the current learning point I will help them in notetaking by dictating their notes for them - this will be particularly useful for GCSE students, where keywords and phrases are necessary to score top marks. If the student feels more comfortable writing their notes without dictation, I am more than happy to let them while I am on standby to offer help when they need it (e.g. incase they are unsure of how to word a sentence or which key phrases to use).
