I would definitely recommend Ivy as a tutor. She helped me a lot with topics like cell theory, body systems/functions, and the Krebs cycle (aka a science student's worst nightmare). I have also known her for many years now and can confidently say she is a kind-hearted and intelligent person both in and out of academic settings.

Ivy is super patient and works with you to make sure that you fully understand the topic you're learning about. She tutored me through one of my toughest course that she had taken the year before, an her way of teaching is calm and patient. Would definitely recommend!

I was in a Biodiversity class with Ivy last semester. About halfway through, I was struggling with some of the content that I had gone over multiple times and could not get so I asked to meet up with her for some help. She was able to explain it to me in a certain way that actually made sense, and my next test grade improved by a whole letter grade. Her patience and ability to see things from a different perspective helped me pass the class that I otherwise might not have.
