About Vanessa
I'm a Biomedical Sciences student with a passion for helping students build confidence and achieve their academic goals.
Having previously mentored and tutored GCSE students whilst studying A levels, I understand the challenges of preparing for exams and the importance of clear, supportive teaching.
I enjoy making difficult concepts easier to understand and helping students develop the skills and confidence needed to reach their full potential.

I tailor every lesson to each student's individual learning style to ensure they feel confident and supported.
I like to prepare for each lesson in advance by discussing with the students what they would like to cover, allowing me to plan targeted and effective lessons.
During lessons, I will use a variety of resources where possible, such as whiteboard, iPads, videos, and practice questions, to break down concepts and make explanations clear and easy to understand.
My teaching is highly exam-focused, with an emphasis on mark schemes, exam techniques, and applying knowledge effectively.
I have previous experience mentoring and tutoring GCSE students while studying A Levels.
Lessons are typically 1 hour minimum, though longer sessions can be arranged if additional support is needed.
My lessons are suitable for KS2, KS3 and GCSE students.
