I offer prior experience as a tutor, along with a welcoming and safe environment for students to learn in. As a tutor, I want to work with you on a learning plan that suits you best. I'll customize plans depending on how you like to learn, whether it's practice-based with assistance, or guided examples with room for you to try practicing. Questions are always encouraged!
A typical lesson plan includes me getting to know how you learn best, discussing what topics you want to cover, and then coming up with a plan. From there I can develop guided examples for you, and work through practice problems alongside you so I can help you develop the skills you need to tackle your class/assignments.
I've had previous tutor experience from various ages, so I'm confident to teach at various levels. I'd love to answer your questions, and steer a lesson in any direction you feel you need! I'm here to guide you, so however you like to learn, I'm happy to help.
I have the most experience with middle school/high school sciences and biology, in addition to first/second-year level university courses including molecular biology, genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry.
