About Mathumitha
5 years of teaching Science subjects (Biology, Physics, and Chemistry) to SPM candidates
7 years of teaching Science, Maths, and English to PT3 students.
7 years of teaching reading, writing and speaking in English for kids from ages 5 to 12.
Approximately 50 students have successfully passed all the subjects that I have tutored and mentored.
A 99% success rate has been recorded throughout the years.

1. A little about myself
An excellent communicator, both verbal and non - verbal.
A good ability to quickly prepare and coordinate as per students learning style
A passionate teacher who is able to adapt and produce results under pressure.
Able to address different learning standards of different students.
Adaptable and flexible time and behavioural management.
2. Lesson Plan
Warm-up: To have students excited to learn, the class starts with a warm-up.
Presentation: This is the essence of the lesson where target language or new vocabulary is taught.
Learn: Generally, the practice segment of a lesson is the most enjoyable, and it mostly consists of activities programmed to use the target language for students.
Production: A list of discussion topics or questions will be offered to students to discuss with a partner or in a small group.
Conclusion: Recap of the lesson is done, to show if and how the students have grasped what has been taught.
3. Teaching method
The teaching methods used will be teacher-centred, learner-centred, content-focused and interactive/participative methods.
However, the teaching method will be chosen based on the type of students due to each student being unique in their own way.
