About Shuopeng

I Graduated from University of Idaho with Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering, and New York University with Master degree of Electrical Engineering. Then I migrated from the United States to Australia for a mining career. Worked as an Electrical Engineer for more than 5 years. A lot of software programming, and hardware Printed Circuit Board designs. As of today I still do cloud server maintenance, write Python scripts for data analysis.
I am writing this is because let's put a peace in mind that by my education and profession, I should be the least possibility of developing FOMO problems. From Academia to a career in Electrical Engineering, I've always been told to study hard, work hard, then save money for property. But after a few years, I still find it difficult in affordable housing as property price skyrocket everyday. Then I start to realize something isn't right for my life. Something has to be changed.
I followed the money then became a trader in a financial trading institution. It absolutely blew my mind for what a real world financial institution did in terms of trading. Trading Stocks, Bonds, Futures, and of course, Bitcoins and Cryptocurrencies. Let me be embarrassed for a moment, prior to become a trader, I heard about Bitcoin in my University student times, thought it was fun, and thought that was a new communication network protocol, that's it. Later for all the booms and busts, I thought it was a scam. If it sounds awfully familiar like yourself, then we've all been through it.
My trader job taught me one thing and only one thing, no matter Stocks, Bonds, Commodities, or for that matter, Bitcoins, can you make money out of it? Everything else serves the purpose of it. That was the moment I realized the missing part of my life. For my team at that moment, we traded Bitcoins, so I extensively studied pretty much ALL aspects of it. It laid the foundation of my understanding of Cryptocurrencies to this day.

About the lesson

The first Bitcoin existed only a bit more than 10 years ago. The entire concept and technology is so new that there is no "Official" or "Authority" on this. The entire foundation of Cryptocurrency including Bitcoin, is based on Game Theory which is a math model for Social Science. I will structure my lessons around 2 focuses: 1, The timeline of Bitcoin/Cryptocurrency development. 2, Why FOMO and crashes always be a part of it. I balance my lessons between those two focuses so that it will provide some of the best practical applications of your own decisions. What's the difference between a Gambler, and an Investor for example Warren Buffet? Gambler sometimes win jackpots while Warren Buffet also occasionally trades in loses. You will find the answer, in those lessons.
