About Joseph
Learning music does not require innate talent as much as it demands consistent, repetitive exposure to the right mechanics. I maintain that focus on physical sensation is far more important than memorizing theory early on. We spend our time on blues progressions, fingerpicking, and reading tabs to ensure you gain genuine control over your instrument. I teach you how to listen to the intervals and identify chords by ear.
The structure of the session evolves based on your progress. It just happens naturally.

Do you find that reading sheet music or tabs feels like a chore? I utilize my MA in Music Education to break down lead guitar, power chords, and barre chords into manageable chunks for 400 students.
My 10 years of experience includes helping absolute beginners and working professionals navigate the fretboard with ease. Blending my background in ESL and music allows me to teach complex ear training through a unique, methodical lens.
