We examine each piece of music through the lens of theory, allowing you to understand the structure behind the notes you play. Does the prospect of mastering difficult bowing techniques or vibrato feel overwhelming without proper structure? Teaching offers me a way to translate my Conservatoire training into manageable steps for the 316 students who have sought my guidance. I often work with self-taught players who need to organize their technical foundation, as well as absolute beginners starting from scratch.
My own musical journey began with a focus on classical repertoire, which informs how I approach tone production and shifting positions today. It is truly rewarding to see grade exam candidates build their confidence through consistent practice and theory. You are welcome to join a trial session to see if my style matches your needs.
