About Feredy
I am a professional pianist, composer, and educator with over 16 years of teaching experience, working with students from beginner to advanced levels. I have taught in several respected music academies and have helped students successfully prepare for RCM exams, university entrance auditions, competitions, and personal artistic development. For over a decade, I have been actively performing and composing. Many of my works and recordings have been published internationally by respected labels and recording companies. My artistic practice spans classical repertoire as well as contemporary and experimental music, often combining deep musical expression with structural clarity and intellectual engagement. I take a personalized and thoughtful approach to teaching—tailoring each lesson to the individual student’s goals, strengths, and artistic voice. My aim is to guide students not only in developing strong technical and theoretical skills, but also in finding confidence, creativity, and joy in their musical journey. (Teaching, for me, is a collaborative and evolving process—one rooted in curiosity, respect, and shared discovery.)

With over 16 years of teaching experience, I believe each student deserves a personalized path tailored to their individual goals, strengths, and learning styles. Whether you are preparing for RCM examinations, university entrance requirements, or simply pursuing personal growth through music, I will design a program that suits your needs and evolves with your progress.
We work on a wide range of repertoire from different historical periods (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, 20th century, and contemporary), developing a strong foundation in technique, articulation, tone, pedaling, phrasing, and expressive performance. Attention is given not only to how a piece is played, but also to how it is understood and felt.
Lessons are also enriched with music theory, structural and harmonic analysis, and ear training (all of which help deepen musical interpretation and improve sight-reading, memory, and compositional awareness). I regularly guide students in building effective memorization skills and practicing strategies that encourage independent learning and long-term retention.
Above all, I aim to cultivate both artistic sensitivity and intellectual understanding. My goal is not only to help students play beautifully, but to develop thoughtful, expressive, and confident musicians—capable of forming their own voice and relationship with music.
