About Jisung

안녕하세요! I'm a native Korean speaker who was born and raised in South Korea. I grew up, went to school, and worked in Korea, so Korean is not just a language I studied — it's the language I use naturally in everyday life. I currently live in the U.S., and I also speak English and Spanish, which allows me to explain Korean clearly to students from different backgrounds.
Whether you want to learn Korean for travel, K-dramas, work, making Korean friends, or simply because you love the language, I want to help you feel comfortable actually speaking Korean, not just memorizing it🤷‍♂️

About the lesson

My Korean lessons are designed to help you feel comfortable and confident using Korean in real-life situations.

I was born and raised in South Korea, where I went to school and worked before moving to the U.S. Because of my experience living in both Korea and the U.S., I can explain Korean not only from a textbook perspective, but also through everyday conversations and real-life situations.

I can teach in English or Spanish, so you don't need to be fluent in Korean to get started.

Depending on your goals, we can practice:

Daily Korean conversations
Business and professional Korean
️ Practical Korean for everyday situations
️ Free conversation and speaking practice
Vocabulary and useful expressions Pronunciation and natural Korean speech
Korean culture and expressions commonly used by native speakers

My lessons follow a structured approach. We will regularly learn and review new vocabulary, practice free speaking, and work on pronunciation and natural sentence patterns. I will also correct your mistakes and help you improve your Korean step by step without making the lesson feel like memorizing a textbook.

My goal is not just to help you understand Korean, but to help you actually use it and feel comfortable speaking it!

Whether you are a complete beginner, already know some Korean, or want to improve your speaking skills, I will adjust the lessons to your level and goals.
