About Jade

Hi there!

My name is Jade and I would love to get to know you! I'm a very friendly university student, majoring in teaching secondary English and have plenty of experience in tutoring my peers (+young children) a diversity of E.L.A. concepts.
I enjoy making learning interactive and fun, using games or visuals to often help root a deeper understanding that will carry on in day-to-day use.
If you're a lover of books (both graphic and traditional novels), we will share this common interest! I love learning from students as much as they do from me, so I can constantly keep improving my teaching methods and become a better educator.

I will work with you in understanding where your current abilities lie and what you need more assistance in learning.

We will start with the absolute basics and progress based on your comfortability and confidence in the material. I will continuously adjust to your learning style, using various methods/tools--perfect for those who may have learning disabilities.

I have a passion for drawing out each individual's greatest potential in the literary and linguistic art forms of the English language. No matter if the learner is just starting kindergarten, on the way to graduating secondary school, or simply looking to improve their English proficiency, I will guide you through: relaxed lessons, practice work, everyday examples, and encouraging feedback.
