About Wren

French tutoring has allowed me to combine my two passions—language and global affairs. With a Bachelor’s in International Relations with French and over 3 years of teaching experience, I integrate culture and communication in every lesson. I often use news stories, interviews, and current affairs podcasts to anchor our discussions. These sources challenge students to understand fast-paced, authentic French while staying informed about the world. Together, we focus on pronunciation, rhythm, and the subtleties of natural speech. Listening becomes a window into accent and intonation. My students, from analysts to researchers, appreciate how language study overlaps with critical reflection. Each class is designed to foster both understanding and confidence. We explore how tone and meaning interact. The result is fluency that feels purposeful and alive. I believe every learner can sound natural, thoughtful, and informed. My goal is to guide that transformation step by step.

About the lesson

In my French classes, communication always comes first. I use interactive dialogues and food-centered topics to make learning practical and fun. Students learn how to order in restaurants, discuss recipes, and describe flavors in fluent French. Each session focuses on vocabulary that connects language to real-life experiences. I also emphasize correct pronunciation and rhythm through listening to authentic dining scenarios. For exam takers and academic learners, I include structured grammar support and comprehension tasks. The goal is fluency with accuracy. Cultural understanding is woven into every topic, especially around French gastronomy and etiquette. I encourage learners to speak confidently and creatively. Every conversation becomes an opportunity to connect through food and culture. Learning French should be enjoyable, and I make sure it is. Together, we’ll make your speaking practice both useful and delicious.
