About Atiya
About Me
I’m a qualified Secondary Mathematics teacher with several years of experience teaching students across a wide range of ages and abilities. I specialize in making math easy to understand by breaking down complex topics into simple, manageable steps while building confidence along the way. Whether a student is aiming to pass an exam, improve their grades, or achieve the highest marks, I tailor every lesson to their individual needs and learning style.
Why I Tutor
I tutor because I genuinely enjoy helping students discover that they can succeed in math. In the classroom, time is often limited, but one-to-one tutoring allows me to focus entirely on each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals. Seeing students gain confidence, overcome anxiety, and achieve results they never thought possible is the most rewarding part of my job. My aim is not only to improve grades but also to help students develop the skills and self-belief to become independent learners.

Qualified Maths teacher with QTS and 6 years of experience teaching the British curriculum in the UK and Dubai. I specialise in KS3, GCSE and IGCSE Maths (Edexcel and AQA), and I offer personalised online tuition for students in Years 3–11.
I’ve worked extensively with students moving from other education systems into the British system, as well as EAL and ESL learners, helping them build confidence and become more fluent in mathematical language.
My lessons are engaging, supportive, and always tailored to the individual student. I focus on building strong understanding, improving performance, and helping students achieve higher grades through steady, lasting progress.
