About Rowena
I am a chemistry student at the University of Bristol. I have lived in France since 2012, went to an international but mainly French school and passed all of my final exams in French.
In 2016 I helped a 10-year-old French girl with her homework, both French and other subjects.
I am a confident French speaker and learnt a great deal about grammar and the different uses of the language over the 7 years I lived in France. I will gladly help younger children with homework and speaking as well as older individuals wishing to improve their spoken French.

Depending on the type of help required, I will evaluate the student’s level by speaking to them a bit or looking over their classwork, to establish how much vocabulary and grammar they know. If they wish to improve their spoken French I will find a range of different topics o speak to them about, to increase thei vocabulary and confidence about speaking about everyday topics. If more academic, grammar work is required I intend to cover more basic rules of grammar and move on to more complex or rarer grammar rules.
