About Aisha

Hi, I'm Aisha! I'm a BSc (Hons) Cybersecurity graduate with a genuine love for problem-solving and an even bigger passion for helping others build the confidence to tackle challenges head-on. Mathematics can feel intimidating, but I truly believe that with the right support and the right person in your corner, any student can go from "I don't get it" to "I've got this."
I bring a calm, patient, and encouraging energy to every session. My background in cybersecurity has sharpened my ability to break down complex concepts into clear, manageable steps, and I apply that same logical thinking to how I teach mathematics. No student gets left behind, and no question is ever too small.
Whether your child is struggling to keep up or simply wants to sharpen their skills, I create a supportive and focused space where learning actually happens. I take my students' progress seriously, and I show up every session prepared, organized, and ready to make math feel a little less scary and a lot more achievable.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is simple: I meet the student where they are, not where I think they should be. Before diving into content, I take time to understand how each student thinks, where their confidence breaks down, and what learning style works best for them. Every lesson plan is built around that student specifically, because a method that works for one child may not work for another.
A typical lesson starts with a brief review of the previous session to reinforce retention, followed by introducing or building on a concept using real-world examples that make the material feel relevant and less abstract. I leave room at the end of every session for questions, practice problems, and a quick check-in to make sure the student is leaving with more clarity than they came in with.
What sets me apart is my background in cybersecurity and analytical problem-solving, which means I bring a logical, structured way of breaking down complex ideas into digestible steps. I am patient, calm under pressure, and genuinely invested in each student's progress.
My lessons are designed for elementary and middle school students who need extra support, want to build stronger foundations in mathematics, or simply need someone who will take the time to explain things in a way that finally makes sense.
