About Andre

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London, where I developed a strong foundation in mathematical reasoning, problem solving, and analytical thinking.

I enjoy helping students understand mathematics in a clear and practical way. My focus is not just on getting the correct answer, but on making sure the student understands the logic behind the solution so they can apply it confidently on their own.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is focused on helping students truly understand the concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. I break down mathematical ideas into simple steps and explain them in a way that makes sense to the student. Once the concept is clear, we practice together until the student can confidently solve the problems on their own.

Lessons are tailored to the specific needs of each student. Some students need help catching up on fundamentals, while others want to prepare for exams or improve their grades. I adjust the pace and style of the lesson depending on the student’s level and learning style.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Queen Mary University of London and have experience helping students work through challenging topics by simplifying them and building confidence step by step.

I mainly work with students from Grade 6 or 7 up to Grade 12, and I am comfortable teaching students following both the British and American curriculum. My goal is to make math less intimidating and help students develop the ability to solve problems independently.

Typical lessons last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s needs.
