About Chris
I graduated from Acadia University with a BSc in Physics with a minor in mathematics. In addition to this I have taken a number of mechanical engineering courses during my university career as well. Following graduation I worked for 6 years in optical research and development. I have since moved out of direct science work and into a managerial career path but would like to once again share my love of science with others. I did a lot of work tutoring my class mates especially throughout high school and found it a very enjoyable experience.

I prefer to tutor by focusing on homework assignments or specific key problems to demonstrate key concepts. This can be done either 1 on 1or with small groups of students. I believe in focusing on problem solving methods as this is the true skill needed for mastery of physics or mathematics, guiding students through problems and helping them hone their methodology.
