About Abdul Ali

Hi! I am Abdul Ali.
I am a 22-year-old currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Physics at the Islamic University of Madinah, KSA with 2 years left to graduation, and a ton of free time on my hand.
Having achieved an A* in IGCSE Physics, I want to utilize my free time in helping students going through the same stage I once went through.
Looking forward to having you aboard

My lessons are specifically built for middle and secondary school students preparing for international British curriculum examinations:

Cambridge O Level Physics (5054)

Cambridge IGCSE Physics (0625 / 0972)

Pre-IGCSE / Middle School Foundation Science (Grades 7–8 transitioning into secondary physics)

Whether a student is struggling with the foundational mathematics of physics, aiming to turn a C/B grade into an A*, or preparing for intensive final past-paper revision, sessions are tailored to their current baseline.

Teaching Method & Techniques
Physics should not be taught through formula memorization. My approach focuses on three core pillars:

Intuition First, Formulas Second: We unpack the physical mechanism behind every phenomenon before touching equations. If a student understands what charges, forces, or waves are doing mechanically, the math becomes obvious rather than intimidating.

Mark Scheme Precision: Cambridge examiners grade against strict keywords and structured criteria. Students frequently understand the idea but lose marks due to missing technical terminology, poor vector notation, or unit rounding errors. I teach students how examiners award points.

Many students lose high marks in experimental design, error analysis, scale selection, and precaution questions. We spend dedicated time dissecting laboratory scenarios and graphical data analysis.

Typical Lesson Structure (60–90 Minutes)
Concept Deconstruction (25–35 mins): Live, interactive walkthrough of the new topic on a digital whiteboard, deriving equations and illustrating force/circuit diagrams step-by-step.

Guided Past-Paper Application (20–30 mins): Solving recent Cambridge exam questions together, focusing on how to break down multi-part calculation questions and long-form descriptive responses.

Wrap-up & Targeted Homework (5–10 mins): Reviewing key takeaways and assigning a curated topical worksheet to complete before the next session.

What Sets Me Apart
Interactive Digital Whiteboard: Classes are conducted using a graphics tablet with clean, real-time handwriting, free-body diagrams, and circuit schematics. Students receive high-resolution PDF notes of the entire board after every class.

Having achieved an A* in IGCSE Physics myself, and being a current BSc Physics Student, I bring practical, applied context to theoretical physics, helping students see how circuit theory, kinematics, and thermodynamics function in the real world.

Structured Homework & Progress Tracking: Students receive organized topical past-paper question packs categorized by difficulty, alongside periodic timed diagnostic mocks to ensure exam readiness well before the actual session
