About Gina

I am an energetic, passionate student with a range of subjects available for tutoring. I have 13 GCSEs, all A*-A, one AS and three A Levels, and I am currently studying for a BSc Psychology degree in Cardiff. I am looking to complete a PGCE in Social Sciences after my degree, with the hope of teaching Psychology in the future. I have volunteered as a teaching assistant and mentor for two years and I have a wide range of experience with children and young adults ranging from 5 years to 16 years of age. I also have experience working with those who have learning difficulties or for whom English is not their first language. My teaching skills are very adaptive and I seek to provide a professional yet fun atmosphere for learning. Due to my wide range of experience with many different students of different abilities, I feel I am able to cater my teaching to the individual and help them to thrive academically. Gina is a colleague of mine at Cardiff University. She’s incredibly organised and puts a lot of work into each one of her sessions, not only helping the student in the session but making sure they have enough extra materials to do outside of them. She is also very approachable and her passion for the subjects really shines in her work.
