About Willow
I have over 4 years of experience teaching mathematics, and my MSc in Mathematical Finance has strengthened my foundation in rigorous reasoning. I love guiding students through abstract algebra and topology because these subjects reveal the deeper structure of mathematics. In my lessons, I teach group theory, ring theory, and topological spaces using clear intuition and practical analogies. I enjoy showing how logical arguments build powerful proofs. Some concepts may feel challenging at first, but with steady steps, they become surprisingly elegant. I work closely with university students and those passionate about pure mathematics. Together, we explore why mathematical ideas work, not just how to use them. I encourage students to discuss concepts openly so that abstract ideas feel meaningful. My approach focuses on building reasoning ability that carries into all mathematical fields. I help learners move from uncertainty to clarity. By the end of our sessions, you’ll feel more confident approaching complex theories. I’m excited to guide you in becoming a well-rounded and thoughtful mathematician.

My teaching approach blends mathematics with real coding logic to help learners see how numbers guide computers. I use clear examples from algorithms, data structures, and discrete math to build strong reasoning skills. Every lesson starts with a simple idea and slowly connects it to a meaningful problem. I enjoy showing how graphs, sets, and logic statements appear inside real programs. We also explore how computational thinking helps break large problems into smaller steps. My teaching style is relaxed, and I use everyday comparisons to make difficult ideas easier. I bring visual aids, flow charts, and structured notes to help students stay organized. Algorithmic thinking becomes less intimidating when we explore it through hands-on tasks. I support each learner in expressing their thoughts clearly and confidently. Together, we work on building comfort with proofs and logical arguments. My goal is to help every student grow in both clarity and accuracy. With steady practice, computational math becomes something familiar and enjoyable.
