About Steffen

I am an experienced communication trainer specializing in professional writing, customer communication and clear, effective business language.

I have designed and delivered practical writing and communication training for professionals across different industries. My focus is on real workplace communication – from emails and customer correspondence to complex information that needs to be clear, concise and easy to understand.

Today, AI is changing the way we write at work. I help professionals use AI as a practical writing assistant – to develop ideas, create and improve drafts, find clearer wording and work more efficiently. Just as importantly, we look at how to recognize generic or inappropriate AI-generated language and turn it into communication that sounds natural, professional and genuinely human.

My approach combines proven principles of effective business writing with the intelligent use of AI tools. The goal is not to let AI do the thinking for you, but to use it confidently while maintaining your own judgment, tone and professional voice.

I enjoy working with real examples and individual challenges, so you can apply what you learn immediately in your everyday work.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on practical business writing for real professional situations. You will learn how to write clear, concise and reader-friendly emails, customer correspondence and professional information – with or without AI.

Depending on your goals, we can work on structuring texts, choosing the right tone, writing clear subject lines and openings, using active and positive language, simplifying complex information and avoiding unnecessary jargon, clichés and overly formal business language.

We can also work on difficult written communication, such as complaints, negative messages or sensitive customer situations, and develop wording that is professional, empathetic and solution-oriented.

AI can be integrated as a practical writing tool. I can show you how to use AI to draft, revise and improve professional texts, how to give better instructions and prompts, and – most importantly – how to recognise and correct generic, inappropriate or unnatural AI-generated language.

My approach is highly practical. You are welcome to bring your own writing examples and professional situations to the lesson. We analyse them together, improve them and develop principles you can apply independently in your daily work.

Lessons are designed for professionals, self-employed people and anyone who wants to communicate more effectively in writing at work. Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and typically last 60 minutes.
